The library’s canonical YAML parse options — merge: true and the !html
tag — exported as the single source of truth.
Remarks
Section titled “Remarks”A consumer that parses a map document with the bare yaml API must use
these options, not a re-declared copy, or its parsing drifts from the
library’s read path (a copy missing customTags silently drops !html; one
missing merge mishandles <<: merge keys). Import this rather than mirror
it.
